This Privacy Policy explains how Resonaut, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects information from users ("you") of the Resonaut mobile application (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Your use of the App is also governed by our Terms of Use.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

The App does not require a personal account to use. We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or physical address unless you voluntarily provide it — for example, by contacting us for support.

1.2 Anonymous Usage and Crash Data

We collect anonymous, non-identifiable data to help us maintain and improve the App. This may include:

• Feature usage patterns
• Crash reports and error logs
• Device type and operating system version

This data cannot be used to identify you and is used solely for internal analytics and improving app functionality. It is collected via third-party tools described in Section 4.

1.3 Imported and Recorded Sounds

You may import sounds from your device or record sounds within the App. We:

• Do not upload or store imported or recorded sounds on our servers
• Keep all such sounds stored locally on your device only

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any sounds you import or record. See Section 5 of our Terms of Use for more detail.

2. How We Use Information

The limited anonymous data we collect is used only to:

• Understand how the App is used
• Identify and fix bugs or performance issues
• Improve the overall user experience

We do not use any data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

3. Sharing and Soundscape Configurations

The App allows you to share soundscape configurations (mixes, settings, or combinations of sounds) directly with others via messaging, email, or other device features.

• Sharing happens directly from your device — we do not transmit any data to our servers in this process.
• Recipients must have lawful access to the App and its sounds to use any shared soundscape. Shared soundscapes do not transfer ownership of or rights to any sounds. See Section 6 of our Terms of Use.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, which may collect data according to their own privacy policies:

• Adapty: manages subscriptions and in-app purchases. May collect information necessary to process payments. Privacy Policy.
• Sentry: crash reporting and performance monitoring. Collects anonymized technical data about app usage and errors. Privacy Policy.
• Pixabay Picker: fetches royalty-free stock images via Pixabay's API. No personal information is sent or stored when using this service. Privacy Policy.

None of these services receive personally identifiable information from us. We recommend reviewing their policies if you have questions about how they handle data.

5. Advertising

The App does not display ads and does not share any user data with advertisers.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older, consistent with our Terms of Use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Data Security

We do not collect or store personal information on our own servers. All App data is stored locally on your device or handled by third-party services solely as necessary for their functionality (such as processing in-app purchases or logging crash reports). We do not operate our own servers for storing user data.

8. Your Rights

Because we do not collect personally identifiable information by default, there is minimal personal data for us to manage on your behalf. You can:

• Control any imported or recorded sounds stored on your device directly through your device settings.
• Delete the App at any time to remove all locally stored App data from your device.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
